The red clover, trifolium pratense, is a herbaceous species of flowering plant in the bean family Fabaceae, native to Europe, Western Asia, and northwest Africa.

The flowers are used to make medicine. Red clover is used for symptoms of menopause, weak and brittle bones, high levels of cholesterol, and many other conditions, but there is no good scientific evidence to support these uses.

When applied topically, red clover has been known to assist in the rate of healing for minor wounds and skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema. Alleviates Acne.

Bees are invaluable to us, they occupied part of our wild garden. We have a bee-friendly garden by growing flowers that they love and at the same time they help us by pollinating our annuals, shrubs, plants and vegetables. It's always amazing to watch them swarm to make new families during springtime. I'm happy to hear them buzzing around in our small garden while I do gardening.

All the ingredients used for the making of salves and balms are from our homegrown herbs, forage in the wild on Møn or sourced from an ethically organic producer. Free from pesticide, chemical, synthetic additive, perfume, paraben and colouring.
